Fans of horse racing are going to be spoilt for choice today as there are plenty of race meetings being held in the UK, and to help you make sense of where the smart money is going today, below I present to you my Boxing Day 2026 racing tips.
Just keep in mind that as many bookies are offering best odds guarantees today, it may be worth placing your bets nice and early this morning, as that way you can take the odds being offered, and if any winning horse you back finishes with a higher SP you will be paid out at those higher odds than those you took in the morning.
The first tip of the day and one that I think should in by quite a few lengths is Politologue, the race you will need to bet on to back that horse is the 3:05 race over at the Kempton racecourse, and as far as just what odds are currently available, well they are 10/3.
In an earlier race at Kempton Lough Derg Spirit will be running and that race is the 1:20 race and if you shop around it shouldn't prove too diffult to get odds of 9/2 on it, and I do think it is scheduled to run a very big race and should get its head up in front where it matters.
Ballyandy is a Rock Solid Bet Today
My nap of the day is Ballyandy and its running in the 3:40 race once again at the Kempton racecourse, the make up of this race and its current form in my opinion gives it a great chance of winning and it should get into the lead and stay there.
Once again I would very strongly advise you to shop around and try and get your bets placed early on that horse, ideally making use of a best odds guarantee, and the odds I have seen it being offered at this morning are decent being as those odds are 4/1!
A Few Other Horses to Consider
If you are prepared to take a few chances and look at horses that are not pencilled in as the favourite, then boy are you going to get some decent odds today, take for example Perform running in the 2:00 race over at Wincanton, if everything goes that horses way today it should bolt home at odds of around the 11/2 mark.
Critical Thinking so another horse that many punters will have an eye on backing today, and it will be in the 1:05 race at Wolverhampton that horse is running, and it does have some very tempting early odds attached to it of 3/1.
One other horse that should run a big race today and hopefully win is Takingrisks, it is in the 2:10 race at Wetherby that horse will be running today and I cannot see any reason why its shouldn't run a big race and romp home at huge odds of 3/2!
