Ronnie O’Sullivan Favourite to Win the UK Championship

It doesn’t seem that long ago that I was giving you an insight into the futures betting market on the UK Championship, but here we are in the closing stages of that major UK snooker tournament with just twelve players still left in the tournament.

However, there is something of a mixed bag of odds available on the UK Championship snooker tournament, for with the current favourite to win this event being Ronnie O’Sulliven who is a fair priced favourite at odds of 11/8, if you do fancy taking those odds then you need to do so right now.

It is the BetFred betting sites that are offering odds of 11/8 on Ronnie O’Sullivan to win that tournament, and to be fair to them they do have some very favourable each way terms too, which will see you being paid out to two places at one third of the win odds when betting each-way too.

Whether you do rate the chances of the favourite or not, it will always be worth deciding whether placing something of a speculative bet on any of the other snooker players, just in case they manage to make it to the final match, and one player that is currently the second favourite to do just that is Judd Trump at 4/1!

Mark Allen and Kyren Wilson

Having been watching the UK Championship snooker tournament quite avidly, I am on the mind that there are two snooker players that are playing right up to the very top of their form and are going to be worth betting on too.

The first of those snooker players is Mark Allen and if you want to bet on a player that is available at some much higher odds but does have a very fair and reasonable chance of winning or getting placed he does look like the value bet of the day at odds of 6/1, and Kyren Wilson at 8/1 is also worth a closer inspection too.

The Rest of the Players

If you want to k now just which other snooker players are still in the UK Championship right now, then allow me to name them all and give you an insight into whether they will odds to win this tournament are going to be worth you taking or are not!

You can back both Barry Hawkins and Stephen Maguire at 11/1 and there may be a tad of value betting on the likes of Ding Junhui at 12/1 of possibly placing an each-way bet on Stuart Bingham at 16/1 in the hope that he does at the very least work his way right through to the final.

Joe Perry at 33/1 looks a bet only his family and friends would want to place and the same could also be said for the likes of Tom Ford who is available at even higher odds of 50/1, as for the last two players they are Martin O’Donnell and Akani Songsermsawad they are the rank outsiders to win this tournament at odds of 125/1!
