Betway UK Championship 2nd Round Matches

The first round matches in the Betway UK Championship have of course all been played off, and today Sunday the 2^nd of January the action moves onto the second round matches, and that does of course mean you have plenty of snooker matches you can both watch and bet on today.

The matches are going to start at 13:00 and 19:00 today and as such allow me to first take a look at some of the first batch of matches that it could be worth betting on, as for the odds I will be quoting one elected players, they are available right now over at the BetFred betting site, so make sure you bet with them to secure the following rather tempting odds!

Jak Jones will be taking on Joe Swail  today and as far as who is most likely to win that match it is Swail and his offs are reasonable it does have to be said as they are 8/11. As for the Martin O’Donnell v Chen Feilong   match, if O'Donnell doesn't win that match at his odds of 1/5 he should give up the sport!

Another match that should be worth a bet on is the Matthew Selt v Ding Junhui  match, and if he carries on playing in his current form, it is difficult to see any other result than the latter named player winning, and he is expected to do so at odds of 2/9.

Paul Davison v Yan Bingtao

If you want to watch a master class of snooker today, then I would advise you to tune in to watch the Paul Davison v Yan Bingtao match that will be in play from 13:00.

The underdog and player that is expected to lose this match and lose is in style sadly is Paul Davison and that does of course mean that you should be backing Yan Bingtaom but his odds of winning do give you a good idea of his chances of beating Davison and those odds are somewhat restrictive being as they are 1/7!

Tonight's Evening Second Round Matches

The players that are all expected to win their respective snooker matches tonight are all currently trading at odds-on to do so, and with that in mind many of you betting on those matches will be placing Acca bets of course.

With that in mind here are the players and the odds that are currently available on them that I recommend you place in your Acca bets if you are of course placing such a bet today!

In the Joe O’Connor v Andrew Higginson match it will be a major shock if Higginson doesn't win that match at his odds of 1/4 and in the Marco Fu v Luo Honghao match I doubt there will be any other result other than a win for Fu whose odds are currently 4/9.

The 19:00 match between Judd Trump v Dominic Dale sees Trump as the odds on favourite to win that match and those odds are 1/10!
