I do know that many punters have been placing all manner of different ante post bets on some of the many major UK horses races that are yet to be run this season, and that is why today I want to pass onto you a few racing tips of the Qatar Goodwood Cup.
That race however is a couple of weeks away for it is going to be run on the 30th of January 2026 and as you will probably already be more than aware of it will be at the fabulous Goodwood racecourse the race is going to be run at, so read on to find out which horses have a great chance of winning that race this year.
The Eon horse that all pundits and tipsters have been tipping up to win this race for weeks and months now is Stradivarius at 10/11, but those odds are rather short and it may just be worth backing the likes of Cross Counter at 7/2 or even Dee Ex Bee at 5/1 to come out on top and win it.
Bet to Win or Each-Way
You can place loads of different bets on this race, and I am sure some of you to there will be perming together you chosen winner of this race in doubles and trebles and possibly even accumulator type bets with some other horses you also fancy to win their respective races.
But do also remember that you should find all bookies offering you each-way betting opportunities on this race, however the terms associated with such bets can vary from bookie to bookie and the generally available an don offer each-way betting terms I have seen so far on this race are one fifth the win odds to three places.
Bigger Odds Available on all Other Horses
You can back any horse each-way or if you want to pool bet then you can select any horse and bet them to fill a place instead, however you are going to be taking some big risks if you decide to bet on any of the horses that I haven't yet mentioned.
I say that as none of the other runners in the race are expected to win or even fill one of the top spots, but that doesn't mean they are not going to and there are some horses such as Southern France at 14/1, and Cleonte, Constantinople, Wells Farhh Go, Barbados and Amade that are all 20/1 that may get placed with some luck in running.
The other runners that will be taking their chances in this race this year are South Pacific, Norway and Dashing Willoughby at 25/1 and then the odds jump to 33/1 with horses such as Ben Vrackie, Withhold and Salouen at and jump even higher on horses such as Who Dares Wins, Raa Atoll, Harpo Marx and Red Galileo are 50/1 and also the likes of Pilaster and Cypress Creek who are the complete and utter rank outsiders at their odds of 66/1, but you may find much higher odds on the outsiders at betting exchanges such as Betfair
