Today I want to rattle through the leading contenders to win the Baseball World Series in 2026 and give you an insight into the each-way betting markets and giving you an overview of just which teams are being backed each-way too.
As for the team that is attracting the most support, well it probably won't surprise you to learn, if you are an avid following of the sport of Baseball that team is of course the LA Dodgers, and to be fair to most bookies but much more so those offering outright win odds of around the 11/4 mark, those odds are fair and reasonable.
The second team at this stage of the betting is the NY Yankees and their odds are reasonable too to say the least and with a little bit of hunting around you should be able to back them quite readily at odds of 333/100.
Two other teams that are attracting a fair bit of support from avid Baseball sports bettors are the HOU Astros at 7/2 and ATL Braves at 7/1, however it is the former team that I do feel has a greater chance of success rather than the latter named team.
Two Places Paid when Each-Way Betting
If you are undecided as to just which team you think is going to win the Baseball World Series in 2026, then you can of course choose to place an each-way type of bet which is two bets in one, one bet covers your team to win and the other to finish in second spot.
As for just what each-way betting terms are on offer, well if you head on over to the Coral betting site which I am sure plenty of you will want to do they are going to pay out to two places of course and will give you one half of the win odds on the place part of that bet too.
More teams at Bigger Odds
It will more than likely be the case that one of the four teams listed dup above are going to be the winner of the 2026 Baseball World Series, but I will leave it up to you as to make your own mind up as to whether it will be worth backing them or for that matter any of the many other teams taking part in that event this year.
The odds though on each of the remaining teams are of course much higher and as such if you are of the mindset that the MIN Twins will win then they are currently the last team being offered at single digit odds, with those odds being 9/1.
A few other teams that are being backed each-way currently as the CHI Cubs at 16/1, MIL Brewers at 18/1 and both BOS Red Sox and TB Rays at 20/1, however they are going to have to pull off some unexpected wins moving forward if they are going to make it through to the final and then go onto win the series, which I doubt any of them will do.
