You still have time to bag some decent odds on most of the runners in the Boylesports Champion Chase race, however as the race is being held tomorrow on the 30th of January and is being held at Punchestown and will be starting at 17:30 the clock sure is ticking and you will need to make your mind up as to just which horse you do fancy backing, if any at all.
I have noticed the each-way betting terms do appear to be different at a couple of betting sites, and if you are quick you may still be able to get one fifth of the win odds to three places on the each-way betting markets at both the Paddy Power and Betfair betting sites, rather than the lesser valued one quarter the win odds to two places most other bookies are offering.
It will be up to you just which if any horse you do fancy backing to win this year's Champions Chase over in Punchestown, but if you are the type of punter that is a favourite backer then your money is going to be going on Min at 8/13 as those horse is heading the betting markets.
There is of course always the chance that Min may not run up to its very best form and anything could happen as its making its way around the racecourse and as such if you think that the second favourite has a good chance of success this year then that horse is Un De Sceaux and its odds are much better valued being as they are 11/4!
Third Favourite is Not Without a Chance
This race has produced some unexpected results over the years, and you may be of the mind that this year it is going to be one of the lesser fancied horses that will take the spoils.
If that is the case then from a strictly form point of view the only other horses that has the abilities of filling the top spot, but will need some luck in running to do so is Great Field, and the is certainly plenty of value backing that horse today on the ante post betting markets for most bookies are going 7/1 on it winning this race.
The Rest of the Field
There are just three other horses that will be lining up and taking their chances in this year running of the Champion Chase tomorrow at Punchestown, however I think it's fair to say each of those horses have very little chance of winning or for that matter getting placed either.
But outsiders do of course always have a chance of winning, albeit a tiny chance and I will leave it up to you as to whether you do fancy placing a bet on them, but for reference they are Castlegrace Paddy at 20/1 followed in the betting bet Hell’s Kitchen at 25/1 and the one horse that is friendless in the betting is Ordinary World whose odds do give you an insight into its chances with those odds being 40/1!
